How's this for a photo of photographers! It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to fugure out which department it is and what occasion it was, but how about also letting us know the names of everyone and their responsibilities at the time, along with the date it was taken.

Date-wise I'd have to look at early '80s, as Paul Farrell died in Aug '83...Editors note - Correct Davie. Dave Chew transferred from CRO to Central Division (Supreme Court Officer) in December 1982, and as you say, we very sadly lost Paul in August 1983.

Dave did not retire whilst in SOCO et al.Editors note - Correct. Dave went on to become Supreme Court Officer in 1982 before working in Prosecutions from 1983 until his retirement in 1989 after almost 26 years service.
