Would you believe it!   Sailing in St. George's Square! Bernews just published a great article with photos on the exceptionally high tides we are experiencing here in Bermuda at the  moment, including this photo of someone launching a sunfish on the Town Square in St. George's!  Bernews also reported that the long term parking area at the airport was flooded and cars were being lifted up and taken to higher ground by a forklifts or tow trucks.  For more information and photo albums go to the following items on Bernews:-

Happens every year just after the full moon.Don't tell Al Gore that though....(this time of year)Editors note - Mmmmm. Not so sure about this being an annual event. I suspect the Corporation of St. George's would be "promoting" sail boat races in Towne Square if it was!
