Tony Lima
We regret to report on the sad passing of Antonio "Tony" Lima at the age of 90, as reported in today's Royal Gazette (30th October 2020).
Tony worked for many years as our PRC cleaner and would often be given a lift home in one of the patrol cars at the end of his working day. Tony was a very popular member of the PRC community who got on well with our old timers such as Keith Pratt, "Spider" McKenzie, Jimmy "The Wop" and other regulars at the club. We heard that when Phil Scarcliffe was the Club Manager, Tony would cut half the grass on the PRC lawn, and polish just half of the brass door furniture on the doors leading to the main hall just so Phil could see that he'd been working!
We extend our sincere condolences to Tony's wife and family. CLICK HERE for Tony's obituary in the Royal Gazette.
