Bermuda Reunion in England in September
We are pleased to let you know about a weekend Bermuda Reunion that is being held in the English Midlands in September. This event is being organized by Bill Nixon, the former butcher at the Supermart, and a great friend of the Police Club.
The reunion is being held at the Ramada, Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham, during the weekend of 19th/20th September 2014. Costs for the 2 night stay at Ramada is 95 pounds per person for bed and breakfast and dinner on Saturday night, or 60 pounds per person for Saturday night only.
We understand that Helen Gallagher will be attending and is looking forward to meeting up with old friends she hasn’t seen for a few years. Apart from “dark and stormies” is will provide an opportunity for a further send-off and get together for a few “auld Irish songs” in memory of Tommy.
Bill is anticipating maybe 35-70 couples, and has pointed out that it is being held on the weekend before the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles so golf fans can combine the reunion with a golf trip.

Bill Nixon and a few others have put together a date and a venue for a reunion of mates from the Bermuda days. A fair slice will come from those that turned out at Nationals in the 70’s but all are welcome.
THE PROGRAMME IS VERY LOOSE BUT MAY INCLUDE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF OVER INDULGENCE AND PROBABLY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF BULLSHIT.
THE HOTEL HAVE OFFERED A “DEAL” SO YOU CAN COME FOR ONE NIGHT OR TWO BUT MAKE SURE YOU TURN UP ON SATURDAY NIGHT.
- Arrival on Friday 19th September for 2 nights - £95 per person inclusive of Bed & Breakfast on the Friday and Dinner, Bed & Breakfast on Saturday.
- Arrival on Saturday 20th September for 1 night- £60 per person inclusive of Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.
- Two nights -Bed & Breakfast only - just book through the website - £146.70 per couple.
Executive double rooms are available at a supplement of £10 per person per night and a single supplement of £15 per person per night will apply.
All rates include full access to our leisure facilities including swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and gym.
