Former PC alleges discrimination in promotions
Former P.C. Michael Harkin who served in the Bermuda Police from 2005 – 2010 is alleging discrimination by the Bermuda Police Service on the grounds that he was not promoted after passing his Sergeant’s examination in 2009.
His case is being heard by the Human Rights Commission presided over by lawyer Paul King and is being reported on by the Royal Gazette.

P.C. Harkin left Bermuda in 2010 after his contract was not renewed and he is now serving in the West Midlands Police.
