Brian Callaghan as we remember him
Many of our former colleagues will remember Brian Callaghan who served in the Bermuda Police Service from July 1972 until his retirement in March 1997 after 25 years service, mainly in CID where he was an excllent collator and exhibits officer who was involved many major investigations.
Following the passing of his first wife Madeline, Brian met his future wife, Ann, here in Bermuda and their relationship blossomed. They married here in Bermuda but they spent much of their time in South Africa where Ann has a home, returning to Bermuda on occasion to meet up with old friends.

Sadly, Brian had a major stroke in 2011 and despite the excellent care he received from Ann, he passed away in Janury 2017 after a long illness. We reported in detail on Brian's time in the BPS in an article "Sad Passing of Brian Callaghan" which you can view at http://expobermuda.com/index.php/latest-news/549-sad-passing-of-brian-callaghan
Ann has just returned to Bermuda from South Africa for a visit, and she cordinally invites Brian's old friends and colleagues to have a drink in Brian's memory from 5pm-7pm on Thursday 29th June at Daylesford Theatre (BMDS) where they spent many happy hours.
Ann has kindly sent us the following invitation, and would greatly appreciate it if you could attend, and also pass on the invitation to anyone who may not see it on our website.
