Our memory man, Davie Kerr, has been rather quiet of late, so we are publishing this photo of a certain department to see how many of the 68 people in it you can collectively identify. We'll give everyone a reasonable opportunity to tell us which department is it (easy), where and when it was taken, and we challenge you all to see how many you can identify out of the 68 police officers and civilian staff. We will also check to see how many Davie can identify to see if our collective memories can compete with him! We are including 3 blow-ups to assist you, and we suggest that you refer to Photo 1 top row, 2nd row etc. then Photo 2 top row, 2nd row etc.
EDITORS NOTE - Unfortunately, our Comments facility isn't working at the moment so you can't post you comments straight to the website. There are several alternatives for making a submission. One is to email us at info@expobermuda.com and we will post you answer as soon as possible, You can also email your answers directly to me if you know my email address. The other way is to post your answers in the "Davie Kerr Challenge" article on our ExPo Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/BDAExPolice/

We can’t wait any longer! So far we’ve had over 20 comments and literally all 68 men and women in our photo have been identified, but our biggest challenge to The Memory Man has come from fellow Scotsman, Charlie Mooney who is one of the officers in the photo.
Charlie has submitted 67 names to us as listed below so he is missing just one, and he isn’t sure of the surname of one of our civilian staff, Esther ?
Here is Charlie’s List:-

And what about our Memory Man, Davie Kerr, who submitted his list to us when we first posted the challenge. Davie also gave us 67 names (he missed one name that Charlie gave us, but he listed a name that Charlie did not name.) However, Davie did provide a surname for Esther.

For a small fee I'll even throw in shoulder numbers!
As the sole judge in this challenge I believe it would be fair to call it draw between Davie and Charlie, but before doing so, I would ask you all to check through both their lists to make sure their names are indeed correct.
I’ve been trying to figure out what it is that results in two Scotsmen having such great memories. Could it be imbibing Scotch whisky, or could it be consumption of haggis? For anyone who knows Davie, you will know it can’t be whisky because he NEVER touches alcohol, so it must be the haggis!
Davie has also tried to narrow down when the photo was taken, and he notes that Frank Wood left the BPS in July 1980 so it was before then, and everyone is wearing Full Blues so it must be the winter of 1979/1980.
