Arthur Rose  -  Nasty Fall

We have just received news that our good friend Arthur Rose had a nasty fall last Sunday (5th February) and fractured his hip.  He was operated on at the weekend and at latest report the operation was a success.  Arthur remains in hospital for the time being and we will  keep you up-to-date on his progress.

We spoke with Arthur's sister Jean this evening and she advises that Arthur actually fell out of his bed when he broke his hip.  He's still in hospital (the Conquest Hospital in Hastings) and Jean says he appears to be turning a corner today and is coming along quite well,  but he does have some other complications so she can't estimate when he might be returning home.
