This has to be the 'latest' story we've reported in our Latest News column! We just discovered an article published in the Royal Gazette on 13th June 2016, about our good friend and ExPo Past President, Steve Taylor, who participated in this year's Appleby Bermuda Day Marathon Derby for the first time although Steve had previously travelled the course on his police motor cycle as part of the Police escort while he was serving in the BPS.
Steve made the deciion to power walk the course and had been training for several months in hopes of completing the course within 3 hours. He achieved his goal as you can read in this article in the Royal Gazette while also raising over $2,000 for charity.
