Passing of Anthony Richard "Tony" Saunders

We are sad to report that we have just heard from John and Anne Rawson in the UK about the sudden passing of former P.C. 163 Anthony Richard "Tony" Saunders who died on 10th August 2014 after suffering a massive heart attack.

Tony served in the Bermuda Police from 26th June 1962 - 26th June 1965 and spent most of his time in Cycle Squad.  He was a  rugby referee and also Captain of the Police 2nd Cricket Team.  He and his wife Sheila lived in the US for the last 40 years with their 4 children and grandchildren.  

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
