Lynn and Cecilia Hall

Lynn has to be one of our most popular officers to have served in the Bermuda Police. He joined the Force in 1956 and served for 27 years before retiring in 1983.  Lynn was often referred to as “Mr. Outward Bound” because of the many years he served as the Outward Bound Coordinator.

He will also be fondly remembered by the countless police officers who were issued with their uniforms by Lynn while he was the Officer in Charge of Stores during the 1960’s and 1970’s.

An avid sportsman, Lynn played cricket, golf, billiards and snooker for the Police teams.  He was a founder member and organizer of the Police Choir; and in his spare time, if Lynn ever had any spare time, he was a scout leader and a very active member of his AME Church.

We would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Lynn’s wife Cecilia,  their daughter Judith Hall-Bean, and to all of their family.
