Tragic News about Kim Ingemann

We are deeply saddened to report hearing of the sudden passing of our old colleague Kim Ingeman who died  on Sunday evening 20th October 2013 at his home in the Dominican Republic.  We heard the tragic news from another of our former colleagues, Jerome Simons, who has visited Kim many times in the Dominican Republic.   Jerome will keep us informed of funeral details and any other information that we can pass on.  

Kim joined the Bermuda Police in April 1971 and served mainly in Central (Uniform) and Eastern (Uniform) but he several stints in Central CID before leaving the Service in approximately 1978.

He was a popular member of the Bermuda Police along with his brothers, Wayne, Norman and Eric.   Sadly, Kim was pre-deceased by two of his brothers, Chief Inspector Norman Ingemann and Constable Wayne Ingemann.  Our hearts and prayers go out to Kim's two brothers, Stephen and Eric, his sister Angela, and to all of the Ingemann family.
