List of Deceased former Bermuda Police Officers

We have just posted a revised list of deceased former Bermuda Police Officers in our ExPo Lists compiled by John Skinner which is a huge improvement compared with our previous list.  John completed his list on 10th April 2020 and we will do our best to keep it updated as we move forward.  Here is an explanation from John as to how it has been compiled:-

This List contains the names of many of our former colleagues who have passed away.  

Unfortunately, the Bermuda Police only recorded the death of an officer when he died ‘In Service’. We are attempting to create our own comprehensive list.

Our List used to assist in the Service of Remembrance held at the Police Cemetery, Prospect, Bermuda every October.

All those officers for whom we have a date of their passing are recorded in this list.  The Date of Death of officers who died ‘In Service’ is shown in bold. 

If we have not been told of the passing of an officer, or they completed their service prior to 1945, their names are not recorded here.  Those officers whom we have been told have died but for whom we do not have a Date of Death are recorded as Date to Be Ascertained (DTBA).  Dates proceeded by a ‘c’ are approximate dates.

If you see any mistakes or omissions please contact us by email at info@expobermuda.com.  Also if you have access to a published Obituary Notice of a former officer who dies outside of Bermuda, we would appreciate receiving a scan/printout.

We would also appreciate any additional information you can provide such as full names where we have initials.
