We have been asked on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Darrin Simons, to invite you and your families to the annual BPS Memorial Service and Reception being held at Prospect, at the start of Police Week on Sunday, 4th October 2026.
The evening starts at 4.30pm with a Memorial Service for our departed Police colleagues at the Police Cemetery in Prospect (entry via Fort Hill Rd/Alexandra Road).
Wreaths will be laid at the Police Memorial by the dignatories. Relatives and friends will also be invited to lay their own wreaths and flowers.
The names of those Officers and Reserves and Civilian staff who have died in the last 2 years will be read in tribute.
Immediately following this Service everyone is invited back to the Police Recreation Club (PRC) where Commissioner Simons will host a reception and BBQ for our Police and Expo members, families and friends.
The Memorial Service provides us with an opportunity to remember our departed colleagues, and to share this time with their family members.
