Young P.C. Tony Nuttall

Former P.C. Tony Nuttall is currently on Island with his wife Margaret and will be heading up to the Police Club this Thursday 21st September around 5pm and hopes to meet up with some of his old mates.  Tony served in the Bermuda Police from January 1961 to September 1965 before returning to the UK where he had previously served in a constable in Salford.  Tony spent several years here in Bermuda as a member of the Police Dog Section along with 'Custy' Crockwell and Winston "Super" Lottimore, in the glory days of the Dog Section.

After returning to the UK Tony joined the Manchester and Salford Police where he rose to the rank of Superintendent before retiring.  We have a photo on our website of Tony with a group of colleagues down at the airportt on the night of his return flight to the UK, and they include Dave Chew and Peter Duffy, both of whom he has been trying to contact while on Island.  See photo at http://expobermuda.com/index.php/who-when-where/194-farewellIf anyone is in contact with either one he would be delighted to see them on Thursday.
