10th April 2020

Dear Colleagues,

As the world takes isolation and distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Bermuda residents are finding our own ways to support and encourage each other. I ask that you continue to reach out to your friends, former colleagues and family with phone calls, social media and emails; ensuring that they are ok and have everything that they need.

We may be in this for the long haul and I have attached a list of emergency phone numbers for Government and other helping agencies should you or one of our colleagues require assistance.

The Government Health Advisors have been open to the fact that uncontrolled COVID - 19 will catastrophically lead to several hundred deaths, or possible more. However, if controlled through social distancing, shelter in place and the public control measures now in place will mean a far lesser number of our community will come into contact with this virus.

It is important that we maintain these controls and continue to support each other and abide by the Government directions. I implore you to Stay Safe, do your part and look out for your neighbor as we all continue with "Making Bermuda Safer"

Sincerely,

Calvin Smith OTM
