Several years ago Ralph Saints contacted us with an enquiry about his old mate, Bob McDonagh, who served in the Bermuda Police from June 1971 - May 1976. Bob is on our list of Deceased Former Bermuda Police Officers, but we cannot find any correspondence relating to us being informed about his death.

Police records indicate Bob was born on 17th May 1947 in South Wales, and he served in the Metropolitan Police, first as a Cadet from 1966-1968, and then as a Constable from 1968 - 1971 before joining the Bermuda Police. The record indicates he married his wife, Wendy, in November 1971,and that he may have left Bermuda to live in Kent, England.
Ralph has just written again and is still keen to discover what happened to Bob.
It would be most appreciated if anyone can confirm whether or not Bob and Wendy returned to Kent, and if, as we hope, Bon is still with us.
