Invitation to Police Week BBQ
This year is the 135th Anniversary of the Bermuda Police Service, and there will be a number of special events being held to commemorate the anniversary. We will be providing you with further information about these events and encourage you to attend those that might be of special interest to our retired and former Bermuda police officers.
One of the highlights for us will be the annual BBQ being held at the PRC at 7pm on Wednesday 8th October 2014.
Commissioner Michael DeSilva has kindly invited us to the (free) BBQ which is being combined with a Retirement Ceremony for those members of the Bermuda Police Service who have retired in the past 12 months and who we will be encouraging to join Bermie Expo.
Here is the official invitation from Commissioner DeSilva. Please note that dress is Smart Casual, and that anyone wishing to attend is asked to RSVP by Friday 19th September to Julie Gardiner at the email address on the invitation.
