Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We are coming to the end of another calendar year and I want to take this time to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the endless hours that your Executive Committee have spent keeping you, our Expo Member’s informed and updated. This past year has not been all good news as we have received notification from overseas and locally of the passing of twenty two (22) of our former colleagues. 

Notably, two of our longest serving EXPO Executive Committee members, namely Inspector’s Reese Bartley and David Cook passed away this year and I ask that you keep all of the families that lost loved ones and their friends in our thoughts and prayers during this holiday season.

Some highlights of 2023, include, we managed to host our newly implemented Annual General Meeting and BBQ Reception at the same time; bringing together over eighty (80) of our members for an afternoon of good food, music, conversation and camaraderie.

Another highlight is that we are awaiting formal written confirmation that our long awaited (2012) Public Services Superannuation Pensions, Cost of Living Adjustments will be restored as a part of the Governments Pension Reform plans. Hopefully, I will be able to provide a full update regarding the Governments plan in the not too distant future. 

Let me end by wishing each and every one of you, a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season that is full of Love, Hope, Joy and the Peace that is yours. In addition, I look forward to seeing you all in 2024, and wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
