This section is intended to honor the memory of former colleagues who are no longer with us.   They are usually kindly submitted by family and friends, and we urge the families of our former colleagues to assist us in including their loved ones in our Hall of Fame.  As you will see, family members have also kindly provided us with photos.

Andrew Park Davis Wilson

P.C. Andrew Park Davis Wilson

Born 1940 - Died 1963

While conducting research for the 2011 Memorial Service held at the Police Cemetery at Prospect during Police Week, it was noted that the first serving police officer buried at the Police Cemetery was a young constable, Andrew Park Davis Wilson who was tragically killed in a motor cycle accident on 14th February 1963. Below is a tribute to P.C. Wilson, originally from Glasgow in Scotland, that appeared in the Bermuda Police Magazine that year.

Since 1963 we have had 11 of our police officers buried at the Police Cemetery, the most recent being P.C. Richard E. Flood who is featured in a separate article in our Hall of Fame.
