Vic Richmond
 

We are deeply saddened to report that our good friend and colleague, retired Detective Superintendent Vic Richmond died early this morning  here in Bermuda.  We understand that he and his wife Anne had just returned from a cruise to Mexico a few days ago.

Vic joined the Bermuda Police Force in September 1966 along with 13 other recruits from the UK and he retired in 2001 after 35 years service, most of which was in C.I.D. where he was an outstanding detective.  

We will publish more information about funeral details etc as soon as they are finalised.  In the meantime we express are sincere condolences to Anne and the Richmond family.

We have heard from Anne that the funeral will be held at Christchurch Warwick, at 4pm on Wednesday 18th March.
