Death of Pat Railton

We were deeply saddened to read in today's Royal Gazette that Pat Railton has passed away in January 2015.   Anyone who served in the Bermuda Police in the 1950's and early 1960's will fondly remember Pat and her husband Robert "Bob" Railton.   Bob served in the Bermuda Police from  1953 - 1962 and was an ourtstanding rugby player, having played professional Rugby League in England.  Bob and Pat were married in 1956 and their wedding photo is featured in an excellent article about Bob in our "Hall of Fame" (CLICK HERE for the article) which was kindly written for us by Pat.  Pat had other close connections to the Bermuda Police as her son Robert followed his dad into the Bermuda Police  - and played rugby for the Police team,  while Bob and Pat's daughter, Sue, married another Bermuda police officer, Mike Chlebek.

Pat has been a regular attendee at our ExPo functions and will be sorely missed by all of us.
